Rebecca Siemering

I am not sure how I stumbled upon this artist. Perhaps it was her presence in New England. Whatever it was, something captured my attention--the colors and familiarly covetted items; shoes, gloves, hats, china...ahh "the good life" as she refers to it. Ms. Siemering focuses on items that Americans are persuaded to desire. The sculptures below are created out of scratch tickets. She also creates china and furniture from sugar. I LOVE the irony of her gorgeous creations.
